What to do if the output of the gear reducer is small and the shaft breaks
date:[2019-05-07] pk_hits:Due to poor concentricity of the output end assembly, the gear reducer shaft can also be broken due to low output of the gear reducer. The reason is that during the initial selection process, the load considered was too small, resulting in incorrect selection and insufficient output of the gear reducer motor.
Some users mistakenly believe that as long as the rated output torque of the selected gear reducer meets the working requirements during selection, it is not the case——
One is to multiply the rated output torque of the equipped motor by the reduction ratio, and the value obtained should be generally smaller than the rated output torque of similar gear reduction motors provided in the product sample.
Secondly, it is also necessary to consider the overload capacity of its driving motor and the larger working torque required in practice. In theory, users need a greater working torque. It must be less than twice the rated output torque of the gear reducer. Especially in some applications, this criterion must be strictly followed, not only for the protection of gear reduction motors, but also to prevent their output shaft from being twisted.
If there is a problem with the installation of the equipment, the output shaft and its load of the servo gear reducer are stuck, and the overload capacity of the drive motor will still continuously increase its output, which may cause the output shaft of the gear reducer motor to become stuck
The output shaft of the gear reducer is twisted and broken when the force it bears exceeds twice its rated output torque.
